Cinnabon in the City – world famous treat makes it metro debut

CINNABON fans rejoice! Cinnabon is hitting the city just two months after the brand’s successful relaunch in Victoria opening a store in Melbourne Central on Saturday July 12.  

Veronica Cheung, Managing Director of Always Hungry Club, the family-owned hospitality business that now owns the master rights to the brand in Victoria, expressed her excitement about continuing to expand Cinnabon across the state.

“Victorians proved their love for Cinnabon with a phenomenal response to the Watergardens store, but we know how many people are clamouring for a store in the CBD, so we knew the time was right to launch our second store,’’ she said.

“Fans have been eagerly awaiting a metro debut for Cinnabon in Victoria for a while now, so we are very excited to be opening at Melbourne Central.”

The new store will mark Cinnabon's 24th location in Australia.

With Cinnabon continuing to draw huge crowds across Australia, Ms Cheung said their goal of opening three stores before the end of year was imminent. 

"With such a positive response, we're moving quickly toward our goal. With the excitement seen at Watergardens, we anticipate a bustling opening downtown."

Alongside the Original Roll, customers will be able to indulge in Caramel Pecan and Chocobon flavours, all freshly baked in store. In addition to cinnamon rolls, customers can also enjoy drinks including espresso-based hot and iced coffees, and blended Chillattas®. For those who can’t get enough of the new Cinnabon treats, guests can take home CinnaPacks™ or order Cinnabon straight to their door with our delivery partners.

The Melbourne Central store will also be the second unveiled in the new look design by Elvin Tan of Melbourne.

To celebrate its grand opening, Cinnabon will treat the first 50 customers to a goodie bag filled with exclusive Cinnabon-themed goodies.
