Larrie Brown – My Favourite Things

PS4 controller - $169.95, Grand Theft Auto V - $99.95, from EB Games

“When I’m not DJing or busy doing other work, one of my guilty pleasures is to get comfy in front of the TV, fire up the Playstation 4 and get lost in a good video game. Call it the perfect stress reliever, distraction, whatever: GTA V was the hottest game of 2014 – no, wait, 20-forever.”

Cool Sorts iced tea pack - $22, from T2

“The ultimate summer drink has got to be iced tea. I’m talking actual iced tea, not the super-sugary bottled stuff. Infuse this for an hour or so and it’s the perfect refresher. There are FIVE different flavours inside this pack so you can try them all. This one is a necessity for the BBQs I throw on my balcony at home.”

Lobster X-back bikini top – $99, from Gorman

“Gorman is my favourite store for those quirky printed pieces you’d never expect to find on a hat or a tote bag, let alone on a bikini. That’s why this lobster printed bikini top is the ultimate summer crop – you can wear it with the matching bikini bottoms or rock it with some high-waisted denim cut-offs. Summer is set.”

Nail It! polish – $8.95, from Sportsgirl

“Sportsgirl has definitely swamped my cosmetic cupboard for more than a decade and they just seem to keep reinventing with fresh colours and new textures. I love the new matte and jelly nail polish range – it’s perfect for the ultimate summer mani/pedi. No excuses to not have a good nail game!”

501 New Hem shorts – $89.95, from Levi’s

“It wouldn’t be summer in my eyes without getting a tan in some bleached denim. These cut-offs are by the pioneers of denim. They’re loose, with subtle fraying and are exactly what I need for when I’m out DJing in those hot and sweaty clubs!”

Nike Air Force 1 Mid (kids) – $99.95, from Foot Locker

”Since I don’t do thongs, I love kicking it in a pair of crisp, all-white Air Force 1s. They’re comfy for when I’m running around between gigs, and I love the mid-cut purely for the velcro strap, b-ball aesthetic. Literally throw these on with anything.”

Mineralize Skinfinish in Cheeky Bronze – $47, Pro Longwear Lipcolour – $46, from MAC

“The mineralise range by MAC is so good! Their cheeky bronze (which acts as a bronzer/blush) has hints of iridescent glow packed into the compact so that when you apply even the smallest brush strokes to your cheeks it instantly gives a healthy glow. This is my ultimate fave and I use it everyday. No joke. As for lip colour, I’m loving the natural ‘90s less-is-more kinda vibe and this MAC Pro Longwear duo is perfect to throw in your bag for a touch-up on the run."

Donna hoop earrings – $9.95, from Sportsgirl

“I feel incomplete without a pair of hoop earrings and these giant gold ones bring out my inner JLO in summer.”
