We know accessing essential services is important to you and providing a safe and comfortable environment is of the upmost importance to us.
Melbourne Central has comprehensive Covid-19 Safety guidelines in place. As a result you will notice additional health, safety and social distancing measures across our centre including:
We have increased cleaning and sanitisation services with a focus on high traffic areas, frequently touched surfaces, food courts and amenities using hospital grade disinfectants and alcohol based sanitiser. In addition, we schedule daily deep cleans throughout the centre.
Free alcohol-based hand sanitiser stations are available throughout the centre including at entry points, dining precincts and amenities.
Keeping a social distance of at least 1.5m metres is important for both the safety and comfort of all shoppers, staff and visitors. To help you safely navigate Melbourne Central, you will notice social distancing signage at high traffic points including lifts, escalators and food courts. Each store will have specific capacity numbers as well as floor signage to help customers que safely.
You will see hygiene signage in amenities and entry points to encourage Covid safe recommendations such as washing or sanitising your hands regularly.
Please ensure you wear a mask or face covering at all times when shopping at Melbourne Central. This is a mandatory condition of entry unless a valid exemption applies. For more information please read our FAQ’s on Face Masks.
We have additional customer support services and security staff to minor social distancing and crowd management. Please visit our friendly team at Guest Services on Ground Level if you have any questions or concerns upon your visit.
We continue to ask customers to refrain from visiting our centre if you are showing symptoms, awaiting Covid test results or have been exposed to anyone with the virus . It is important that we all follow Covid safe testing and isolation requirements to protect ourselves and our community.
