When we last saw recent college grad, Anastasia ‘Ana’ Steele, she had left young business magnate, Christian Grey, concluding that he was completely wrong for her.  Now Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornon return as Christian and Ana in the long awaited sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker.

In the film adaption of the 2012 erotic British romance novel, we see Ana, with a new job as a personal assistant, reunite with Christian at a friend’s party and kiss passionately in an alley.  The kiss leads to dinner and subsequently Christian revealing that he wants her back.  She agrees to get back to together with him under her conditions (wouldn’t  you like to know).  Things get messy when Christian buys the company Ana works for and that’s when things really get interesting.

Fifty Shades Darker is story of love, blackmail, jaded lovers, deceit and danger. The sequel directed by James Foley will be released in Australia on Valentine’s Day 2017 at Melbourne Central's Hoyts.
