‘Cell’
2015. Animation, 1:04 minutes.
Cell is an animation about hidden life. Static objects within a cold, sterile fridge erupt unexpectedly with vibrant colour and movement. The human being on the bottom shelf is a character the artist and her sister Lucy are developing for a collaborative creative project. They are creating an animation that investigates the comic-book trope of women in refrigerators.
