We had a few questions from women on behalf of their guys:
@xtream_shopper on Instagram asked, "How do I get my partner away from comfy drawstring pants?"

Hi @xtream_shopper, thanks for your question. Sounds like your partner needs some encouragement to get out of his comfort zone (excuse the pun)! There are loads of options for guys when it comes to  achieving comfort without sacrificing on style. One option is the dressed up track pant – yes, it's still a drawstring, but can be dressed up with funky trainers, a statement tee and leather jacket.I like like these ones from WitcheryMan.

You can also try a relaxed, cargo style like these Spencer Project from General Pants.

Unlike denim, a chino provides more movement and comfort, so is a nice way to ease your man into non-elasticated waist bands! These Ziggy denim chinos from Glue Store are a perfect combination of cotton and polyester, providing a very comfortable fit.

Now onto some simple suiting queries, first from Mellissa Pinto, who asked, "On behalf of my fiancé, what's a trendy suit style to wear to a destination beach wedding?"

Hi Mellissa, a beach wedding can be a tricky occasion to dress for. The first option I would consider is a cotton suit which will provide a slightly less formal feel and is appropriate for a more casual beach wedding dress code. This light grey matching jacket and trousers from Oxford is a great, affordable option.

Calibre always make a modern suit, and this 100% Petrol coloured suit would also be a great option.

You’ll notice that the trendy cut of Calibre suits are tapered to the body with a 2 button jacket and slim trousers. Being 100% wool also means the fabric will breathe, even if it’s hot, and the lovely petrol colour is less formal than black, charcoal or navy.

@rosss1234 on Instagram wanted to know, "What is a 'lounge suit' and should I wear a tie with it?"

Hi @rosss1234 thanks for your question about suiting! A lounge suit is really a regular suit that can be worn in varying colours (i.e. you’re not limited to black or dark navy) and should definitely be worn with a tie. Lounge suits are worn for most business events, both daytime and evening, and for many social events, such as lunches, receptions, dinner, weddings, christenings and funerals.

This Bell & Barnett two button suit is a great example of a lounge suit that you’ll find very versatile

Finally, @cpurtell03 on Instagram asked, "My son is very tall (6'3) and lean and needs to find a style or brand of shirt that is long enough to wear out as an over shirt (with a t-shirt underneath). Can you recommend any stores or brands?"

Hi @cpurtell1103, I’m very familiar with retailers for tall men, being both tall myself and coming from a family of very tall men! Marcs are really great for making shirts that are both slim through the body and long in the torso for tall guys. In fact, many men with whom I shop there need to get their Marcs shirts shortened! Their Kline slim shirt is one of my current season favourites.

Oxford also do a good slim cut with length, as do Calibre. Keep in mind most casual shirts are cut shorter in the body than business shirts, which are designed to be tucked in.
