Premium Pearl Milk Tea, Matcha Tea Latte with Coffee Jelly from Chatime; Orris Highball – $8.95, Orris Tumbler – $7.95, Hilla Napkin pack of 4 – $29.95, Platter – $29.95 from Country Road.

Simplicity at its best. We love to use really beautiful props and these tumblers, plus he serviette and plate we’ve used from Country Road’s Home collection, are so incredible. We find inspiration in interesting places and love watching people buzz around with their Chatime cups, which are always filled with such fantastic colours.

Sushi Sashimi Deluxe Pack – $12.50, Edamame – $3.00 from Sushi Sushi; Chrysanthemum Tea Drink – Central Grocery; Tapas Bread Plate – $14.95, Tam Small Dip Bowl – $7.95 from Country Road.

We’ll always owe a little to take-away sushi packs; they’re an inspiration aesthetically as well as being a great lunch on the run. You’ll also often find us chowing down large quantities of edamame, which are definitely underrated, snack-wise. Tthe graphics on these funky Asian drinks are off the charts and we often include them in shoots. We had to style it on this pink Country Road plate for food photography at its best.

Simply Grill’d Burger – $9.90, The Famous Grill’d Chips – $4.80 from Grill’d; Cherry 7Up from Central Grocery; Platter – $29.95 from Country Road; Novelty Earphones – $9.99 from Typo.

We love eating burgers on the sly and love that we can customise the ones at Grill’d by adding lots of extras. We also couldn’t resist these ‘Happy Meal’ headphones from Typo! This platter from Country Road is amaze. We’ve been repping ours hard at everything from shoots to dinner parties.

Froyo with assorted toppings from Frozen by a Thousand Blessings; Red Placemat Single – $11.95 from Mozi; Tapas Coffee Cup – $7.95, Tam Spoon – $7.95, Coil Placemat – $12.95, Tam Medium Dip Bowl – $12.95 from Country Road.

We all lurvee froyo here at the Chow Down HQ. Frozen by a Thousand Blessings is a spot we always hit up to discuss new ideas. (We also compete to see who can make the best tasting combo!) Styled with these amazing, colourful props from Mozi and Country Road, it looks as good as it tastes.

Assorted breads from Breadtop; Mochi  and Vitasoy from Central Grocery; Tapas Bread Plate – $14.95, Tam Medium Dip Bowl – $12.95 from Country Road; Pink Pansi Malamine Side Plate – $11.95 from Mozi.

Sometimes we go into Breadtop just to gawk at all the cute little bready treats! The best way to get inspired is to hit up shops like Breadtop or Central Grocery and poke around. We can get lost for hours! We’re suckers for packaging, which is why we were so drawn to the Vitasoy and mochi. As avid collectors of props, we picked up these pieces from Country Road and Mozi to create the perfect blank canvas for all our food styling needs.

Special thanks to Natalie Turnbull, Elise Wilken and Mietta Coventry from Chow Down.
