PARKING
Parking at Melbourne Central is safe, simple to use and great value…it’s SmartPark. SmartPark’s two locations offer more than 1,600 undercover car spaces, either under the precinct or in the nine-storey building in LaTrobe Street. Melbourne Central SmartPark comprises 3 carparks (2 located directly under the precinct via Lonsdale and LaTrobe streets and one directly opposite the centre on LaTrobe Street, linked to the centre by a safe, well-lit underpass).
Save 50% on car parking when you shop at Melbourne Central. For every $10 you spend at any Melbourne Central store, you pay only $4.00 per hour at SmartPark. That’s one of the cheapest rates in the CBD.

Payment
Here’s how SmartPark works. Access the carparks from Lonsdale or LaTrobe streets and don’t forget to take advantage of our discount shopper rate. The fee structure is:
Standard Rate: $8 per hour
Evening Rate: $9 after 6pm
Discount Rate: $4 per hour
Maximum Rate: $34 per day
EARLY BIRD RATE: In before 10am out after 3pm
North Latrobe Car Park just $10
Main Car Park just $12
The hourly rate is $8 but is discounted to $4 per hour for every $10 you spend at Melbourne Central. Just have your SmartPark card validated at the cash register each time you make a purchase. Or if you forget, take your receipts to the Customer Service Desk on the Ground Floor of the LaTrobe street building.
